The Slinkies are back and this year we have ILLUSTRATIONS!
This year we have a brand new look and an array of new authors to captivate all the senses.
The Slinkies competition publishes some of the best talent from emerging writers under 30. Our team is hard at work putting the finishing touches on the book, set to be launched on October 24th. With the annual online release party swiftly approaching, it’s all hands on deck.
Slinkies 2024 will feature two submissions that contain graphics and illustrations. This is a first for the Spineless Wonders competition and will usher in a new direction of storytelling from this year’s winners.
We are partnering with some exciting Australian artists to illustrate the cover and decorate the pages with inviting illustration designs. Stay tuned in with our socials to be the first to check out this year’s authors and collaborating artists, and to get your hands on a ticket to the Slinkies book party.
