Lisa Dowdall is a writer and scholar based in Sydney. She has a PhD in Creative Practice from UNSW, and her fiction has previously appeared in Seizure Online and Headspring. She is currently working on a fantasy novel called Impossible Things, which imagines magic as a non-renewable resource.
